Day Four – On our last day we were met with more rain in the morning for our third round of the week on the Meadow Valleys Course. The rain was never heavy, but was off and on throughout the round. The back nine was relatively clear, and we said our goodbyes to many in the group that were not able to stay for the final round of the trip. The ones who made it headed over to Whistling Straits for lunch, then loosened up for one more final round. I decided to pick up and carry my bag on The Irish Course, and had a great afternoon with Rawn Emig and Frank Gavin playing a 3-man scramble. Almost every hole, we played my drive, Rawn’s approach, and then watched Frank pour in putt after putt to finish 9 under on the round. It was a great finish to an amazing golf trip!!
